Business Standard : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professor (Technical) (Computer Science and Engineering) who will be working in Training and Technical Education Department of Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research under Government of NCT of Delhi. Candidates willing to take up the post can apply for the same till 28th December, 2017 (Thursday). The number of vacancy is 3 reserved for UR (3), OBC (0), SC (0) and ST (0). The qualified candidate would be paid Rs. 15600-39100 ( PB-3) plus Rs. 6,000/-(Academic Grade Pay) (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 44200 /-p.m. approximately) So far the job location is concerned; the candidate would be posted at Department of Training Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. New Delhi. The post carries probation of one year.

Eligibility Parameters:

Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering/Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering/Master of Technology from a recognized University. Keep in mind as per official notification, If a Class/division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division. If a Grade Point system is adopted the Cumulative Grade Point Average will be converted into equivalent marks as below-

UPSC CBI public prosecutor 2017 exam scheme announced

The recruitment examination, scheduled for November 25, 2017, will be computer based and candidates will have 2 hours to answer questions for 300 marks.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently issued the scheme of examination for its combined computer-based recruitment test (CBRT) for short-listing the candidates. The commission is looking at filling up a total of 62 posts available in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) under the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

The test to shortlist candidates for recruitment to 47 posts of public prosecutors and 15 posts of assistant public prosecutors in CBI was November 10, 2017 will be conducted on November 25, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Mobile phones, bluetooth devices and other such IT gadgets are banned in the test venue.
According to an official notification, intimation about the venue of the recruitment test will be directly communicated to the candidates in due course.

Timetable for CBRT 2017

Scheme of the test
The computer-based test will be 2 hours long and candidates will have to answer questions for 300 marks. Candidates will be given 10 minutes before the exam to read the instructions and open the browser. According to the notification, all questions will carry equal marks. The test include objective type questions with multiple choices of answer. The medium of the test will be English only.

There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

The candidates are directed to undertake the recruitment test at their own risk i.e. after verifying that they fulfill the qualifications as prescribed in the advertisement, and their admission to the test is purely provisional.

  3. Indian Evidence Act
  4. Prevention of Corruption Act
  5. Delhi Special Police Establishment Act

NMAT by GMAC is a national level MBA entrance examination held every year by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). This entrance examination is used by more than 23 universities, institutes and B-schools for admission in to their various management programs. The application process has started on 04th July 2017 and the last date for completing the application process is 03rd October 2017. Once registered, applicants can schedule their examination and appear for the same at a designated centre in one of 44 Indian cities and 4 international ones (Kathmandu, Thimphu, Dhaka and Colombo). After registration, the last date for scheduling NMAT is October 16th 2017. To apply for NMAT by GMAC applicants should have completed Fulltime Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks.
